Certified, Goal-Oriented and Outcome-Driven ADHD Coaching.
Based in the Macedon Ranges, I offer tailored support to individuals with ADHD, both in person and online.
My approach is grounded in understanding ADHD as a unique part of who you are, not something to fix or change.
What is ADHD Coaching?
ADHD Coaching is a specialist type of life coaching that provides tailored support and guidance to individuals with ADHD helping them to navigate the challenges associated with the condition and to enhance various facets of their lives.
It is inspired by positive psychology, is strengths-based and recognises that using positive sources of dopamine is imperative to igniting the ADHD brain. Professional ADHD Coaches receive up to date and in-depth training on various facets of ADHD, including the relative neuroscience, as well as cognitive, emotional, and behavioural aspects of ADHD, in addition to their qualification as a coach.
Despite being a relatively new profession, ADHD Coaching is experiencing substantial growth and is recognised within the medical and larger community as a valuable adjunctive treatment to medication.

Here’s a few ways coaching can help you.
Whether you suspect you’ve got ADHD, have just received a recent diagnosis or have been living with ADHD for years, there are so many different ways an ADHD Coach can help and support you.
-
Are you truly living your life on your terms, or have societal pressures shaped some of your decisions?
Coaching can help you examine your life through the lens of what really matters to you and make choices aligned with your core values, beliefs, and strengths. This leads to a deeper sense of self and more purposeful life journey.

The irony of ADHD is that we often resist the very things that might help us: systems, routines, structure, reminders, and timers – all those things that might seem mundane. Even if we recognize that using such tools could ease the burden on our struggling executive functioning skills, we frequently find it challenging to implement them or stick with them.
ADHD coaching can be a game-changer when it comes to managing your life. ADHD coaches get it. They comprehend the necessity of crafting strategies tailored specifically to you, designed around how you work best. The goal is to help you feel less overwhelmed, more in control and to create more time for the activities that bring you joy.
-
If you struggle with communication & boundary setting in your relationships (friendly or intimate), coaching can help you gain a deeper awareness of how ADHD may be impacting this aspect of your life. Through coaching we focus on ways to enhance communication within your relationships in a way that is both authentic and affective for you.
-
It’s hard enough being a parent in modern society, let alone when you’ve got ADHD. Raising children can be incredibly taxing on your already overwhelmed and busy brain, and it can also be a very isolating experience.
Coaching can support you in your role as a parent by break things down into manageable steps, creating systems & rhythms that work for you and your family, and building confidence in advocating for you and your children’s needs.
-
ADHD is often internalized, particularly among women, with significant impacts on mental health and self-esteem. Often the stories we've told ourselves to explain our differences have become deeply ingrained.
The good news is that with coaching, you CAN learn how to reframe these stories, embrace yourself with radical acceptance and treat yourself with kindness and compassion.
-
Do you struggle with asserting and advocating for your needs?
Perhaps you face challenges at work when trying to advocate for appropriate accommodations (such as working in a quieter environment with fewer distractions and bright lights). Or maybe you find it difficult to communicate your needs to friends and family?
Coaching can help to identify unmet needs and look at strategies and accommodations to support these.
-
If you’re recently diagnosed and struggling to make sense of what your diagnosis means to you, a Coach can provide relevant education around ADHD and work with you to understand how ADHD ‘shows’ up in your life. Information provided will be up-to-date, evidence based and strategies will be co-created and tailored to you.

Does finding calm amidst the chaos of overwhelm sound too good to be true?
Living with a busy mind that bounces from thought to thought can be exhausting. It swiftly shifts from enticing new business ideas or hobbies to the anxiety-inducing realization that you've forgotten a crucial commitment and the weight of an endless list of unmanaged tasks.
Let's work together to rein in the overwhelm, hone your focus, and channel your vibrant mind into a force for productivity and clarity.
Wondering what happens during a coaching session?
-
ADHD coaching is a collaborative process between coach and client where the focus is entirely on YOU. Sessions typically revolve around your goals with the aim being to help you achieve success in whichever way is meaningful to you. Whether success means reaching a goal or gaining clarity on a challenge you've been dealing with, I am by your side, offering support every step of the way. Imagine me - your ADHD coach - as your reliable "thinking buddy." I’m there with you, helping you navigate your thoughts, questions, and ideas. My role is to guide you toward the best path forward, one that perfectly suits your needs and your journey.
-
Sessions are customised to what's most important to you in the moment. Coaching can be a creative process and does not have to be limited to talking. Sessions can be tailored to suit your processing style and preferences and can include visual aids or any other helpful methods that may be helpful for you.
There’s no need to make eye contact, and you can use fiddle toys, doodle through your session, or even opt for phone calls instead of video calls so you can walk while we talk – it's all perfectly fine as long as you feel engaged and involved.
-
To enhance your coaching experience, I offer pre and post-session reflection forms. These forms can help you gain deeper insights and keep track of your progress.
Additionally, I can provide you with valuable resources, links, and referrals. I also offer accountability check-ins in between sessions to help you stay on track with your goals.
