  • No, you do not require a mental health care plan or referral from a GP to access ADHD Coaching.

  • You do not require an official diagnosis to engage in my coaching services. You might be self-identified, in the process of assessment, or simply questioning the possibility of having ADHD (please note that I am not qualified to offer diagnostic advice, but I can certainly assist with addressing ADHD-like symptoms).

  • A notice of 24 hours is necessary to reschedule or cancel a booking without incurring the full session fee. Naturally, emergencies can occur on occasion, and in such cases, the fee might be waived.

  • This will vary depending on your goals, commitment, and personal situation. Typically, the initial one to two sessions focus on information gathering and goal-setting. Generally, achieving meaningful results involves a series of sessions, commonly ranging from 6 to 12.

  • Those with an NDIS plan who are self-managed may use their funding for coaching.

  • Unfortunately, no. ADHD Coaching is a relatively new industry in Australia and is currently not covered by Medicare or Private Health Insurance.

  • Coaching and therapy are distinct approaches, each serving different purposes. Coaching is focused on the “now” and aims to help clients act and make positive changes moving forward in their lives, whilst therapy often focuses on the past and addresses deeper emotional issues.

  • Coaching might not align well with individuals who are participating solely due to external influences, such as pressure from a spouse, parent, or friend. To achieve optimal outcomes through coaching, authentic eagerness and commitment to personal growth are essential prerequisites.

  • At this stage, I only offer coaching to adults.
